Essential Direct Funeral
The Essential Direct Funeral is designed for families who require the minimum service from us. It is designed for those occasions where no funeral service and no attendance is requested.
We will collect the deceased from a local address or hospital and provide the mortuary care until the day of the funeral; provide a simple cardboard coffin suitable for cremation; book the Crematorium for a date and time of our choosing (usually early morning) ; provide a suitable vehicle and convey the deceased directly to the Crematorium; and collate the documentation required and deliver to the Crematorium.

If the deceased is collected out of normal working hours (9:00am - 5:00pm), at the weekend or bank holidays, or is in excess of 20 miles, there will be an additional charge.

- Receiving initial instructions and giving advice on Registration of death
- Explaining HM Coroner Procedure where applicable
- Advice on all procedures and paperwork
- Completing all paperwork relevant to a Cremation
- Arranging a date and time for the funeral
- Advice on bereavement care
- Making all detailed arrangements and conducting throughout on the day
